A little more about me...

I grew up in Denmark and for as long as I can remember, I have loved to travel. I would get so excited when the yearly family holiday was coming up! As I grew older, the love for travelling stayed with me so I started travelling with friends and sometimes by myself.

After high school, I went to the university and studied for two years before realizing that the path I was on wasn’t the right one for me. I dropped out of the university with less than a year left to finish my bachelor, having no idea of what I wanted to do. I decided to go travelling with a kind of soul searching purpose.

I got a job, saved up as much money as I could in eight months and off I went! I went travelling in the hope to find the right path for me. I visited ten countries in four months and then came back to Denmark. I had finally found the right educational path for me when I was travelling and gained knowledge about ways to help other people. So back in Denmark i decided to study to become a pedagogue. I spent three and a half years studying and travelling as much as possible in between. In the sixth semester of my bachelor, I went to the Philippines for six months to work at an orphanage. Those six months changed everything for me. I was working during the weekdays and spending the weekends travelling around the Philippines and surrounding countries. During those six months, I gained experiences of a lifetime and got in touch with myself in a whole new level.

Afterwards, I went back to finish my education in Denmark. At that stage, I had travelled through 35+ countries and I realized that I was always thinking about my next travel destination and how I could save money, not living in the moment.

So back in Denmark, I spend all my waking hours thinking about how to chase my dream and within four months, I was heading to Bali. I went to Bali and I started writing my bachelors degree and researching my new idea. That is when the creation of Balife Foundation came along. Balife Foundation is an organization that offers internships in Bali.

I started thinking more and more about how I could create an everyday lifestyle focusing on woking with my passion and how I could travel a lot more than only the yearly holiday. Think about it – you probably work eight hours a day, five days a week only increasing your work hours. That is A LOT of your time. So for me, it was SO important to work with something I felt passionated about. I started taking one step at a time to get closer to my dreams.

Travelling is also giving me the insight of what is happening with this beautiful place. Creating awareness of the footprints we are leaving behind is of utmost importance to me. Gaining knowledge about those footprints, and minimizing them, so that we can keep having this amazing world to explore and grow from – for our grandkids as well. So in this blog, you will also find a webshop with eco-friendly options. These are products I use myself and every purchase or action is counting towards your footprint.

I will be sharing amazing & unique travel experiences, including the steps to creating and designing the life of your dreams. I will be sharing how I started my own business and what I learned from becoming an entrepreneur. I will, of course, share my ups and downs throughout the process because we all know big risks don’t come without fear of failure! I will help guide you through living your life to the fullest, prioritizing yourself, your emotional health, and working with your mindset.

We all have different dreams, but the mindset of getting them is the same.

I fell in love with building a life that matches my passions. And on this page, I will share everything I learned and what i am still learning from the process.

From this blog, I hope you find inspiration to experience this beautiful planet, create your dreamlife and feel encouraged to let absolutely nothing hold you back. Go explore this beautiful world and live your best life!

And at last…

Thank you for being here! Pour a glass to celebrate that you are ready to create your dreamlife! Cheers!
